These 3 (almost 4) truly are lovely and were such a joy to photograph. It took us a while to co-ordinate schedules and get some decent weather, but the evening before they left to go out of town to await the arrival of the newest Pasel it all came together. Phew. Here in Tofino, the hospital doesn't have the proper facilities to accommodate maternity so families have to leave town just before the baby comes. As Andrew put it " It's like you go on vacation and come home with a baby" So, any day now there will be a new babe in town, I can't wait to meet him/her and have part two of the photo shoot :) 

Yoga on the Beach

 Spring is in the air,  birds are chirping, the days are long and that cold nippy air is gone. With the sunshine comes more energy and more inspiration to get outside and shoot. This one was for Coastal Bliss Yoga here in Tofino ( it's an amazing studio if you haven't already checked it out). Pascale and I headed down to secluded Middle Beach and out to Sunset Point for this shoot, the weather couldn't have been better and Pascale was a joy to photograph.

Travels to a far away land

   I just recently returned from a trip to Indonesia. It was awesome.  I got to travel with some of my best friends, surf some beautiful waves and see a whole new culture. The highlight for me was being able to experience all this with my mom. We travelled together for a month, and I really can't put into words how great of a time we had. My mom has an adventurous spirit and thank goodness for that 'cause we had some serious adventures. She became scooter driver extraordinaire when our leisurely drive turned into an epic all day off road journey. That month was truly a time that I am thankful for, and I cant wait for our next travel endeavour Momma!
